When I try to load a plug-in in Peak, I get an error "Plug-ins are only available when used with CoreAudio"

If you try to load a plug-in in Peak and receive one of the following alert messages:

You need to switch your sound option to CoreAudio. To do this you must:

1. Quit Peak
2. Go to this directory: Mac HD/Users/[your username]/Library/Preferences and delete the file called "ACA P4 Preferences", as well as the file called "Peak Preferences"
3. Launch Peak
4. Go to the Audio menu
5. Go to 'Sound Out'
6. Select 'CoreAudio' from the Sound Out submenu
7. Set your CoreAudio settings in the CoreAudio window
8. Click OK

You should now be able to use VST and Audio Unit plug-ins.
